Captured here are some of the people going about their daily lives in Chondorpur. It demonstrate that despite the hardship of life, people learn to adapt, surviive and make do and will always smile. Yet most live in squalor, poor hygiene, lack social skills, and kept apart from the upper and middle classes.
Amcariza Foundation funds and operates projects with the single goal of making people self sufficient. We do this by teaching, educating and motivating them. We want more for them than just getting by. We try to transform lives. For good.
We see, hear and are witness first hand to heart breaking tragedies. Shown here in the middle is a orphan girl, who is also a twin. Aged 10 she lives in a slum, unable to attend school and spends most of her time begging alongside her grandmother (seen here on the left wearing a blue sari).
This orphaned girl and her brother depend solely on their grandmother. For some time they have been seeking assistance for shelter and money for education fees. Amcariza is currently assessing how we can best assist the three of them, in a structured, beneficial manner that will help change their lives.
